Vince chiarito

Vince Chiarito is a Brooklyn, NY based recording engineer/mixer, producer, and bassist.  He is known for his work in the studio with Ikebe Shakedown, The London Souls, Breakdown Brass, Super Yamba Band, Okonkolo, and many more.  His music has been featured on shows such as NBC's Blacklist, HBO's Eastbound & Down, and in films such as Our Brand Is Crisis. 

Vince is dedicated to capturing compelling live performances and enhancing them with the colorful sound machines he employs in the control room.  His approach is old school in spirit while simultaneously unafraid to explore the modern sonic landscape.  

In addition to his studio output, Vince has toured extensively with Charles Bradley, Antibalas, and Ikebe Shakedown.  

Billy Aukstik

Most recently a touring member of Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Billy has played trumpet onstage and in the studio with a number of world-renowned acts. After attending New York University’s Jazz Studies program, Billy hit the road full-time, performing at festivals and venues around the world with Bradley, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, The Budos Band, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Antibalas, Erykah Badu and Mark Ronson. In the studio, Billy has performed on recordings with The Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, The Menahan Street Band, El Michels Affair, The Dap-Kings, BADBADNOTGOOD and EMEFE, to name a few. 

In 2015, Billy founded his own record label, Dala Records, and has since produced and engineered debut releases from John Fatum, The Rad Trads, Michael Harlen, Patrick Sargent, Camellia Hartman, The Hook Brothers, Billy the Kid and Emily Rault. 

At Hive Mind Recording, Billy recently engineered upcoming singles for singer/songwriters Marlon Williams and Steve Charles as well as produced commercial jingles for Tiffany & Co. 

Michael Buckley

Michael Buckley is a New York City based touring and recording musician known primarily as a tenor and baritone saxophone player. His work can be heard on recordings for Lee Fields & The Expressions, The Roots, Ikebe Shakedown, Breakdown Brass, and various others, as well as a number of film and television soundtracks. Michael, along with the other members of Ikebe Shakedown, produced the band's two most recent albums. 

Michael has toured/shared the stage with Sharon Jones, Lee Fields, John Legend, The Roots, Kesha, Tedeschi/Trucks Band, Soulive, Aloe Blacc, Chromeo, and many others.
